The question is simple: What car on the US market would you rename.
Here's the catch: It can't be a car with an alphanumeric name, so no MKZ, CT6, Q50, etc.
It has to already have a normal name.
My choice would be the Toyota Prius C.
It's a nice looking car, it doesn't scream 'I'm better than you', it actually seems like a normal subcompact hatchback.
The problem is, it's still got the stigma of the Prius name.
That's where the Japanese market comes in. There, this is called Aqua.
It's the only Prius variant/spin-off that doesn't use the Prius name in Japan.
The regular Prius is still the Prius. The Prius V is the Prius (alpha).
But this gets a better name, and I like it.
Fortunately, since there's not much difference between a US-spec Prius C and a JDM Aqua, it's really just a badge swap away.
So, what would you rename? Remember, you can't choose an alphanumeric/numeric one to rename.

I really don't get what Tiida means.

If that happened, it would bring flashbacks of the failed Saturn Astra.

Yeah, I can see why people wouldn't like changing the Buick names, and I'm neutral about it, but I really like having the same thing as the European Opel, you know? The Astra was only a failure in sales; that huge panoramic sunroof is awesome and makes up for it. Just too be we never got the OPC version as the Saturn Astra Redline :(
The Ram brand seems stupid to me; just fold it back into the Dodge brand already! The IDM names of those two names are Fiat Doblo and Fiat Ducato, so just change Fiat to Dodge :)

Mokka makes me think of Moccasin, which if thought of that way, would possibly be considered inadvertently offensive (like Pajero, Moco, and that certain rebadged Suzuki Kei that Mazda sold).

How about renaming all the Nissans?
Nissan Altima -> Nissan Teana
Nissan Rogue -> Nissan X-Trail
Nissan Quest -> Nissan Elgrand (technically not identical, but Elgrand!)
Nissan Frontier -> Nissan Navara (just for the sake of it...)
Nissan Sentra -> Nissan Sylphy...(or not...how about Nissan Pulsar instead...)
Nissan Versa -> Nissan Micra (because we should get the Micra instead of the Versa :3)
Infiniti M/Q70 (yes alphanumeric but I can't let it be...) -> Nissan Fuga (like Fugu!)/Cima
Also, the Nissan Armada should be renamed Nissan Patrol, or just give us the real thing... XD
Also, Toyota has some fun ones...
Toyota Highlander -> Toyota Kluger (cuz it's a fun name to say...)
Toyota Tacoma -> replace with Toyota Hilux
Scion xD (yes alphanumeric again but bear with me) -> Toyota Urban Cruiser

- Not Teana, but Bluebird .
- I always liked the X-Trail, and since I also like the Rogue name, make Rogue a trim level, kinda like when Jeep had the Renegade trim.
- Just like the Rogue/X-Trail, make Quest a trim level.
- I kinda like Frontier better.
- Pulsar, definitely.
- Yeah, replace the sedan with the Micra like they did in Canada, then keep the Versa Note as one model up, but just call it Note, like in other markets.
- Cima and Fuga are great names, and they would represent the wheelbases just like in Japan. Cima = LWB, Fuga = SWB.
- Give us the real thing and base the next Titan off of that.
- Yeah, but what about the 'there can only be one' jokes? I like Highlander better just for that.
- Yes, the next one should just be a US built Hilux. Maybe offer Tacoma as a trim package below Invincible.
- Sure, but only because ist makes no sense at all for a car.

Sure. Or for more lulz, have the Japanese develop an AWD system for the Cruze, since the original Cruze was a rebadged JDM Suzuki Ignis.

Pin striping- dealers put that on so they can charge an extra $100-$1000. You can have it taken off and have the price dropped. Most people don't care that much.
Chrome wheels- Because sorry, the Escalade's 22s are far more baller than ANYTHING from european factories
2 Party system- BECAUSE ITS EASIER WHEN THERE'S ONLY 2 TEAMS
